Maybe you're hanging out somewhere in my books - you're just missing a little tip and you're off. Or you simply want to have what you have learned so far checked. Often small things are not taken into account, which later have a big impact, or even prevent you from progressing. Maybe you wanted to take a guitar lesson with me for a long time, but the way to me was too far for you, or the time needed to come to me was in no relation to a few private lessons.
Current computer technology, as well as the greater bandwidth of DSL access, now allows for direct, interactive guitar lessons, from screen to screen, no matter where on this globe you are currently sitting in front of your computer.

Guitar lessons from one end of the world to the other. Video calls from Mac to Mac - or Mac to iPad, iPhone or iPod touch.

Why is it limited to Apple's Facetime protocol? Because services such as Skype do not provide the corresponding quality and thus do not allow reasonable on-screen lessons. In addition, FaceTime is the only app that does not allow screen recording, or a screen capture application to be recorded in parallel with the chat. I don't like having my spoken word recorded, and it doesn't comply with the DSGVO.

What's next?

You send me an email. I inform you about prices and conditions.You ask for an appointment if you are interested and specify how many UEs you want.I confirm the date of the lesson(s) (UE = 30 min) and send you a PayPal payment request. The fee is to be paid in advance.You pay via PayPal, this is possible with a PayPal account, but also with credit card, or Giropay (bank transfer).We meet at the agreed time in the chat.

Here, at the other end, sits a person who has understanding for possible click errors and not only knows the §§ key of his keyboard. If for technical reasons no connection is possible, you will get your money back via PayPal (Refund). You determine with your mouse/keyboard when "money flows". You conclude neither a contract, nor a subscription. You only pay for the individual lessons or the agreed lessons.

Lessons

In the morning not before 10.30 o'clock - in the evening until 22.00 o'clock. Saturdays only in the afternoon, Sundays never.
From 13.00 - 16.00 is lunch time and siesta.
1 UE (teaching unit) is 30 minutes. It is also possible to book more UEs.

Exclusion

For the data transfer I cannot take over any guarantee. I have a 120 MBit/s DSL connection which is operated via a Fritzbox on a MacPro, iMac or iPad. If the service provider or the other party cancels the transmission due to a lack of bandwidth, or if no strings are visible on the video image, the remaining time will be made up in any case, or refunded. Should this happen again, however, I would like to refrain from further meetings.
Please understand that I cannot/will not answer any questions about PCs.
